OUR STORY
PeakTrail Adventures was founded in 2018 by a group of passionate mountain enthusiasts who shared a common vision: to make the breathtaking beauty of Australian mountain ranges accessible to everyone while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental responsibility. What started as weekend expeditions with friends has grown into one of Adelaide's most trusted mountain hiking companies.
Our founder, Marcus Blackwood, spent over a decade exploring mountain ranges across three continents before returning to his hometown of Adelaide with a dream. He assembled a team of certified guides who shared his commitment to excellence, safety, and sustainable tourism. Together, they developed innovative training programs and expedition protocols that have become industry benchmarks.
